Sturdy Products Ltd and Raincatcher Join Forces to Provide the Complete Rainwater Harvesting Solution.11-Jun-2010
Every week we hear about the cost of water, whether it’s the rates business are charged, proposed introduction of domestic charges, our leaking water pipeline or the huge cost in treating our declining supply. Raincatcher have teamed up with Sturdy Products Ltd to offer a solution to the commercial and domestic market.
According to David Goulding, Director of Sales for Raincatcher “this is an exciting time for Raincatcher. We are delighted to work with Sturdy Products Ltd who have been providing money saving eco-products to the Irish market for over 29 years”.
“Our clients are the most important part of our business. Our clients trust us to provide comprehensive solutions for them. The Sturdy Hydro-Store is not a one-size-fits-all solution and requires advice from Raincatcher to provide the perfect solution to each of our clients needs. We aim to build strong client relationships in order to create the best solution.”
Whether it’s a homeowner looking for a small water tank collection system for their garden or an architect looking for an experienced consultant to assist with the design of a rainwater collection system, Raincatcher can help. We pride ourselves in understanding the needs of our clients no matter how big or small the scale of the project.
The low maintenance Sturdy Hydro-Store is simple, strong and effective. Rainwater is harvested from the gutters, passed through a leaf downpipe filter in to a water butt and then is stored in a safe underground tank. The water is then pumped to an existing tank for use in non-drinking applications. The system comes with all the necessary fittings (Submersible Pump, Float Valve and Pressure Vessel) so installation is made easy by qualified technicians from Raincatcher.
“Due to the Sturdy Hydro-Stores tanks low profile, it design means it does not have to be buried as deep and excavation can be completed by hand digging. The fact that it can pass through doorways or side passageways is where it wins our vote. The load heavy capacity of 4 tonnes enables the tank to be fitted anywhere in the garden, even under the driveway,” comments David.
